Reverse description The Arms of Saint Helena occupy the central field, comprising a shield divided per fess: the upper section displays a wire bird (Saint Helena plover) upon a rocky outcrop, while the lower section depicts the historic East India Company ship in full sail upon the sea. The shield is surmounted by a naval crown and supported by two wirebird supporters with floral mantling to either side. A crest of a female figure holding a lily flower rises above the crown. A scroll below the shield bears the motto LOYAL AND UNSHAKEABLE. The denomination TWO POUNDS appears in large letters along the lower rim.
