Reverse description The reverse presents a naturalistically rendered scene of crabeater seals (Lobodon carcinophaga) depicted in their Antarctic habitat, showing multiple individuals both above and below the waterline. In the upper portion, two seals are shown resting on pack ice with rocky outcrops visible in the background; below the waterline, a third seal is shown swimming, displaying the species' characteristic elongated body and distinctive muzzle. The denomination TWO POUNDS appears in raised letters along the lower exergual arc.
