背面描述	The full Ascension Island coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring a heraldic shield charged with a chevron above a sooty tern in flight, supported on either side by green sea turtles as supporters. Above the shield rises an elaborate mantling surmounted by a crest depicting a sailing ship on waves. The curved legend GRANTING OF ASCENSION ISLAND COAT OF ARMS arcs along the upper periphery, and the denomination £2 appears in the lower field. A small PM mint mark is present at lower right of the central device.
