| Obverse description | The obverse presents the third effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II facing right, depicting her wearing the George IV State Diadem, as designed by Raphael David Maklouf. The portrait is rendered in high relief appropriate to the proof finish, with fine detail in the diadem and facial features.
