| 背面描述 | Central design featuring the royal cypher 'ER II' in interlaced script beneath a St. Edward's Crown, all within an ornate wreath composed of the four floral emblems of the United Kingdom: the English rose, Scottish thistle, Welsh leek, and Irish shamrock. The date of the original coronation, '2nd JUNE 1953', is incorporated into the design alongside the anniversary dates '1953' and '1993' separated by a small cross in the lower field. The surrounding legend reads 'CORONATION ANNIVERSARY OF QUEEN ELIZABETH II' along the upper arc. |

Guernsey issued this piece to mark the fortieth anniversary of the June 1953 coronation, at which the Bailiwick had sent an official delegation to Westminster Abbey — one of the few Crown dependencies to do so with formal ceremonial representation. The island had maintained a direct loyalty to the Crown since the Norman Conquest, and such anniversaries carried genuine constitutional weight there, not merely commemorative habit.
