| Beschrijving voorzijde | Uncrowned left-facing effigy of King Charles III occupies the inner copper-nickel disc, modelled by engraver Glyn Davies, with naturalistically rendered hair and facial features in high relief. The outer nickel-brass ring bears the circumferential legend KING CHARLES III · ISLE OF MAN in raised Latin capitals, divided by a raised dot separator. The date 2023 appears in the lower portion of the ring, flanked by raised dot stops. The engraver's initials GD are incorporated into the legend on the ring. The bimetallic format creates a clear visual contrast between the silver-toned inner field and the golden outer ring. |
