Beschrijving voorzijde	The central field is dominated by the coat of arms of Isla de Chiloé, presented within an oval cartouche surmounted by a royal crown; the shield depicts two towers rising from a body of water with a globe of the Americas visible between them, and six five-pointed stars disposed around the cartouche. Elaborate foliate and floral branches flank the shield to either side, lending the composition an ornate heraldic character. The legend ISLA DE CHILOÉ arcs along the upper periphery in raised Latin letters, while the denomination 2 POUNDS is inscribed in the lower field beneath the arms.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse presents a naturalistic full-colour rendering of a Barbados Anole (Anolis extremus) occupying the central field, depicted in a crawling posture oriented to the left with its head turned toward the viewer; the lizard is rendered in greens and browns with dark dorsal spotting, the coloured artwork applied over the brass field. The scientific name ANOLIS EXTREMUS arcs in coloured lettering along the upper right periphery. The year of issue 2025 appears in coloured numerals in the lower exergue.
