Beschrijving voorzijde	The obverse features the denomination numeral '2' in large relief at the center of the field, surrounded by the issuer name 'Posemuckel' above and 'Hamburg' below in Gothic blackletter script. A circular legend in Roman capitals runs along the rim, stating that this taler is accepted only at the Posemuckel establishment in Hamburg.
