| Obverse description | Central field dominated by the elaborate crowned cipher of Bishop Heinrich VIII von Bibra, rendered as an interlaced monogram of the letters H and E in Baroque calligraphic style. A princely crown surmounts the monogram, its arches and jewelled band executed in fine relief. The coin's border is formed by a toothed inner ring encircling the entire design. The flat, unadorned field lends emphasis to the monogram as the sole decorative element. The overall composition is characteristic of late 18th-century German ecclesiastical coinage. |
