Obverse description Central device featuring the Bavarian lozenge shield, displaying the characteristic diamond-pattern (fusily) coat of arms of the Electorate of Bavaria in raised relief. The escutcheon is rendered in a plain field without additional ornamentation. The initial letters C and B, abbreviating Chur-Bayern (Electoral Bavaria), flank the shield to the left and right respectively, serving as the sole legend on this face.

Reverse description The reverse bears a four-line inscription in the central field denoting the denomination and date, reading: the numeral II flanked by decorative six-pointed stars above, followed by the abbreviated denomination PFEN. / NING arranged across two lines, and the mint year below. A small decorative star ornament appears at the base of the field. The bold, block-serif lettering is characteristic of late 18th-century Bavarian copper coinage produced at the Munich Mint.
