| Obverse description | Three heraldic shields arranged in trefoil formation, meeting at the centre of the field: the upper shield bears an imperial eagle, the lower-left shield displays a chamois or ibex passant, and the lower-right shield contains a further heraldic device associated with the Bishopric of Chur. The denomination numeral '2' appears in the lower central field beneath the junction of the three shields. The coin is struck uniface with a boldly beaded border encircling the entire design, characteristic of small hammered billon or silver pfennig coinage of the period. |
