The shield is flanked by decorative mantling or supporters rendered in low relief. The date 1740 appears in the lower field, divided by the base of the shield, reading '17 40', within a toothed or beaded border encircling the entire design. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse of this small billon pfennig appears uniface or bears only minimal design elements, consistent with the low denomination coinage of the Reichenau lordship of this period.
