| 正面描述 | A boldly modelled eagle's head in left profile occupies the central field, rendered in high relief with finely engraved feather detailing across the crown and nape. The hooked beak is sharply defined, and a prominent eye adds a naturalistic quality to the design, the work of engraver Friedrich Wilhelm Hörnlein. The circular legend DEUTSCHES REICH appears around the periphery, separated by a raised dot stop. The entire design is contained within a continuous inner border of raised beads. The overall aesthetic reflects the restrained, classicising style of early Weimar Republic coinage reform patterns. |

| 附加信息 |
The 1924 German currency reform — which introduced the Rentenmark and then the Reichsmark to stabilize an economy obliterated by hyperinflation — required entirely new subsidiary coinage. Pattern pieces from this transitional period represent the Reichsmünzamt working through competing proposals for the new monetary infrastructure. Schaaf 314 G1 designations indicate a specific trial strike variant, distinct from the adopted circulation type, and such pieces were never submitted for public release.
