| Obverse description | The obverse features an outer pearl border encircling a circular legend in raised Latin capitals reading MAINWERKE G.m.b.H. at the top and OFFENBACH A.M. at the bottom, separated by small five-pointed star stops. Within the legend, a second inner pearl circle frames the central field, which displays the large numeral 2 as the denomination. The design is entirely typographic with no figurative elements, typical of utilitarian German Notgeld coinage of the early Weimar period. |
