| Obverse description | A beaded border frames the design throughout. A detailed frontal view of the Befreiungshalle (Liberation Hall) monument near Kelheim occupies the central field, rendered in low relief with its distinctive colonnaded rotunda and stepped podium clearly depicted. A small triangular hole pierces the flan at the base of the central device. The circular legend reads 'STADT KELHEIM A. D.' with a cross pattée ornament, running along the inner edge of the beaded rim. |
