| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central field dominated by the elaborate crowned cypher of Archbishop John Frederick Charles of Ostein, rendered in interlaced cursive script and occupying the majority of the shield. The arms are surmounted by an electoral princely crown topped by a cross, flanked on either side by a crozier and a sword as ecclesiastical and temporal symbols of authority. A small mint mark or ornament appears at the base of the shield. The overall design is executed in a bold, low-relief baroque style characteristic of mid-eighteenth-century German ecclesiastical coinage. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The denomination numeral II is prominently displayed in the upper central field, flanked on either side by a quatrefoil rosette ornament. Below the numeral, the inscription PFENNIG is rendered in capital letters across the centre of the field, followed by the mint abbreviation S·M on the next line, and the date 1759 at the foot. The reverse is unadorned save for these inscriptions and ornaments, enclosed within a plain milled border. The lettering is bold and well-spaced in a style typical of eighteenth-century German pfennig coinage. |
