| Obverse description | Crowned Brandenburg eagle displayed within a baroque shield, with the date divided on either side of the central arms. The crowned scepter device appears at the center of the shield, serving as the principal charge. The overall design is characteristic of the small billon coinage struck under the Great Elector Frederick William, rendered in a crude hammered style typical of minor provincial issues of the period. |
