| Obverse description | The octagonal flan features a beaded outer rim enclosing a circular pearl border, within which the denomination numeral '2' is prominently displayed in the central field. The issuer's name 'ARDELTWERKE G.M.B.H.' arcs along the upper portion of the legend, while 'EBERSWALDE' curves along the lower portion, both legends separated by five-pointed star ornaments. The overall design is utilitarian, consistent with German Notgeld emergency coinage of the early Weimar period. |
