背面描述 Salmon-pink field enclosed by an ornamental letterpress border composed of repeating stylized foliate and bell motifs. A bold vignette of a toad occupies the center of the note, rendered in a naive woodcut-like style, with the Low German dialectal inscription 'POGGENDORP' (meaning 'Toad Village', a colloquial reference to Neumühlen-Dietrichsdorf) printed beneath the animal.

备注

Neumühlen-Dietrichsdorf was a small industrial municipality on the western outskirts of Kiel, later absorbed into the city proper in 1924. Like hundreds of German municipalities during the acute coin shortage of 1917–1921, it issued its own Kleingeldersatz — small-change substitutes — to keep local commerce moving when copper and nickel had been redirected entirely to war production. A 2 Pfennig denomination is among the lowest values produced anywhere in the Notgeld series, suggesting this was issued specifically to address fractional change problems at the retail level.

The Grabowski-Mehl reference suffix "a-2/3" indicates two or three known paper variants within this single type.
