正面描述	The obverse is headed 'Treasury Emergency Currency Certificate' and carries the text 'By Authority of the President of the Commonwealth of the Philippines,' with a central vignette of the Commonwealth of the Philippines seal flanked by the denomination '2' in red on both sides. Below the seal, the text certifies that the Commonwealth Government of the Philippines will redeem the certificate at face value upon termination of emergency, with 'TWO PESOS' and 'MINDANAO EMERGENCY CURRENCY BOARD' inscribed in bold letterpress. Three manuscript signatures appear at the bottom alongside printed name panels, with 'SERIES 1944' noted in the upper right and a red serial number at right.
