| Obverse description | Emergency wartime issue on plain paper with a fine guilloche underprint across the entire field. The upper register bears the printed legends COMMONWEALTH OF THE PHILIPPINES / PROVINCE OF NEGROS OCCIDENTAL, a handwritten issuance date, and the denomination TWO PESOS in bold serif type below the charging clause PAY TO BEARER ON DEMAND THE SUM OF.
