| 备注 |
One of dozens of emergency currency issues that proliferated across Philippine provinces following the Japanese invasion in late 1941. The Misamis Occidental Currency Committee was a civilian body operating under the Commonwealth government-in-exile framework, empowered by provincial authorities to issue scrip when Federal Reserve Notes became unavailable or impractical in guerrilla-held territory. These notes circulated in direct defiance of Japanese occupation currency, which the military administration was simultaneously trying to impose as the only legal tender.
The three signatories — Treasurer, Fiscal, and Auditor — reflect the accountability structure deliberately built into these provincial issues to maintain public confidence. Pacana's name appears on multiple Misamis Occidental denominations from this period.
