| 备注 |
Moratalla is a small town in the Murcia region, and like hundreds of Spanish municipalities during the Civil War, it issued its own emergency paper when the Republic's central supply of small-denomination coinage collapsed entirely. These local vales and cartones were authorised under a framework that gave town councils remarkable latitude — the results varied wildly in quality and design, from near-professional lithography to hand-stamped cardstock.
The Garrió Montenegro catalogue reference (Gari Mon#973-H) places this within a documented series, which is not guaranteed for all Republican municipal issues — many smaller towns issued notes that remain unattributed or only partially catalogued.
