| 备注 |
Génave is a small municipality in the Sierra de Segura, Jaén province. Like hundreds of similarly sized Spanish towns, its ayuntamiento or local council issued emergency paper money during the Civil War years of 1936–1939 when coin effectively vanished from circulation — hoarded, melted, or simply not reaching rural areas. These municipal emissions were never formally authorized by the Republican government's central banking structure; they were improvised necessities, often printed or rubber-stamped locally in tiny quantities.
The Gari catalogue reference being incomplete signals that documentation on this specific emission remains thin. Survival is typically low for these minor Andalusian issues.
