| 备注 |
Fonelas is a small municipality in Granada province, and like hundreds of Spanish villages, it resorted to locally issued paper during the Civil War when Republican-zone coinage effectively disappeared from circulation after 1936. These municipal emergency emissions — known collectively as "papel moneda local" — were authorised under increasingly desperate conditions, produced with whatever materials were at hand, and often validated by nothing more than a rubber stamp and a signature from whoever held municipal authority at the time.
The Gari Montañana reference is unassigned, suggesting this piece remains incompletely catalogued. That alone makes it worth documenting carefully.
