| Beschrijving voorzijde | Letterpress-printed note in black on cream paper, enclosed within a rectangular border of fine ruled lines. The upper register is occupied by a continuous ornamental frieze of repeating geometric and rosette cartouches. The issuer's name 'Colectividad de Campesinos de Cofita' is set in large serif type across the centre, separated from the denomination legend 'DOS PESETAS' below by a dotted rule with a small downward-pointing triangle. The lower portion carries a horizontal band of interlocking scroll guilloche flanked at each corner by squared denomination panels bearing the numeral '2' above 'PESETAS'. |

Cofita is a tiny village in the Huesca province of Aragon — during the Spanish Civil War, its agricultural collective issued its own scrip as the Republican monetary system fragmented and coin disappeared from circulation almost entirely. These local vales were a practical response to a specific shortage, not an ideological gesture, though the collectivization itself was very much both.
Gari Mon 547A-A is among the more obscure Aragonese issues, and surviving examples in any condition are genuinely rare simply because production runs for village-level collectives were small and the notes were used hard.
