正面描述 Plain pink-tinted circular cardboard disc serving as an emergency token. The entire face is occupied by printed black Latin lettering arranged in three registers: the issuing authority legend 'COMITÉ DEL FRENTE POPULAR' appears in the upper field, separated by a thin rule from the bold denomination numeral '2' accompanied by the abbreviation 'ptas.' in large display type at centre, with the locality name 'BUJALANCE' printed in the lower field. The design is entirely typographic, with no figurative or decorative elements, reflecting the utilitarian nature of wartime emergency currency issued during the Spanish Civil War.

附加信息

Bujalance, a small olive-farming town in Córdoba province, came under Republican control at the outbreak of the Civil War and its Frente Popular committee issued emergency cardboard notes to address an acute shortage of small-denomination coinage — a problem that afflicted hundreds of Republican-held municipalities simultaneously after the coup disrupted normal monetary supply chains. The Banco de España's coin stocks simply couldn't reach isolated towns, and barter was impractical at market scale.

The Gari Mon reference gap indicates this piece remains uncatalogued or provisionally listed, which is not unusual for Bujalance emissions — local committee records were largely destroyed or dispersed after Nationalist forces took the town in 1939.
