| 正面描述 | Typeset in black ink on plain paper stock, the face presents the issuing authority and face value within a geometric border formed by double ruled lines. The denomination is set between two horizontal rules, with the council name in bold capital lettering above. The overall design is utilitarian, consistent with wartime emergency local issue practice. |

| 备注 |
Broto is a small municipality in the Aragonese Pyrenees, and like hundreds of Spanish towns it was forced to issue its own emergency fractional currency during the Civil War after the Republican government's coin shortage stripped local commerce of any workable small change. These municipal notes — known collectively as "billetes locales" or "vales" — were produced under improvised conditions, often on whatever card stock or heavy paper was at hand, with an official stamp serving as the sole anti-counterfeiting measure. In a village the size of Broto, the stamp would have been recognized by every shopkeeper personally.
Documentation on specific Broto emissions is thin. Surviving examples are scarce simply because very few were printed, not because they were well-used.
