Reverse description Christ enthroned in full frontal majesty, depicted in Byzantine ecclesiastical style, seated upon a jewelled throne with loros-like drapery rendered in dotted lines. The figure is shown wearing imperial or sacerdotal vestments richly decorated with pellet ornamentation, with the right hand raised in benediction and the left holding a book of the Gospels resting on the knee. Flanking figures, likely angels or saints, are partially visible at either side, and fragmentary Latin lettering appears in the right field.
