| Reverse description | Within a raised inner circle at centre, the denomination inscription in Devanagari reads 'दुई पैसा' (Two Paisa), surmounted by a trident symbol (trishula) above. The broad annular band carries a Devanagari legend identifying the issuing authority and kingdom, with 'नेपाल' (Nepal) prominently inscribed at the base of the legend. The outer rim is defined by a continuous beaded border consistent with the obverse. |

Nepal's copper small denominations from this period were struck at the Kathmandu Mint during the reign of Tribhuvan, who came to the throne as a child in 1911 under heavy Rana prime ministerial control. The Ranas effectively ran Nepal as a private fiefdom, with the monarchy reduced to ceremonial function — a political reality that persisted until Tribhuvan's dramatic flight to the Indian Embassy in 1950, which precipitated the end of Rana oligarchy entirely.
The fifteen-year span of this issue reflects production continuity rather than consistent annual striking.
