| 正面描述 | Central field displays an upright trishul (trident), flanked to the left by a crescent moon and to the right by a rayed sun symbol. A circular Devanagari legend surrounds the upper portion of the field, bearing the royal name and titles of King Mahendra Bir Bikram. Nepal's coinage underwent a systematic decimal reorganization under Mahendra following his father Tribhuvan's death in 1955, with this series introduced as part of that broader metrication push. Mahendra had also consolidated royal authority considerably — suspending parliament outright in 1960 and ruling by direct decree for the remainder of the period this coin was struck.
KM#751 is a short-run type, discontinued once the series was revised in the early 1960s.
