背面描述 Central device featuring a stylized floral or foliate emblem with a pointed central element surmounted by three pellets or globules, flanked by curved scrolling elements suggesting leaves or petals. The composition is arranged symmetrically within the field, with a small pellet or annulet visible near the lower rim. The design is characteristic of the crude but distinctive engraving style associated with Sailana princely state coinage under Dule Singh.

附加信息

Sailana was among the smallest of the Rajput princely states in central India, covering roughly 300 square miles in what is now Madhya Pradesh. Its rulers maintained the right to issue copper coinage — a privilege the British permitted to minor states largely as a matter of administrative convenience rather than economic necessity. Dule Singh ruled from 1874 to 1895, and issues under his name are irregularly produced, with meaningful variation in flan preparation and striking pressure across surviving examples.
