Opmerkingen

Thomas De La Rue has printed Tongan currency for decades, and this 2023 issue continues that relationship without interruption. The cotton substrate with watermark and security thread places it firmly in De La Rue's mid-tier security specification — adequate for a low-denomination note in a small Pacific island economy where cash handling volumes are modest and counterfeiting pressure historically low.

The Pa'anga has been Tonga's currency since 1967, replacing the Pound at par with the Australian dollar at introduction.
