Reverse description The reverse displays the denomination numeral '2' prominently in the centre of the field, with the word 'ØRE' inscribed in capital letters beneath it. The country name 'NORGE' arcs along the upper periphery as a legend. Two stylised ornamental devices, resembling triangular Viking-inspired rose or knotwork motifs, flank the central denomination at the mid-field level, one to the left and one to the right. A small mint mark appears at the base of the field below the denomination inscription.
