Reverse description Central field features the crowned arms of Sweden, displaying the three crowns of the Tre Kronor device within a shield, rendered in the heraldic style of the Vasa period. The shield is surmounted by a royal crown and occupies the majority of the reverse field. A circular Latin legend reading MONETA NOVA SVECIE followed by the date of issue surrounds the central device. The overall design is compact and bold, characteristic of hammered silver coinage of 16th-century Sweden. The flan shows typical irregularities associated with the hammered technique.
