| 背面描述 | The reverse displays the large numeral '2' in bold relief at the centre of the field, flanked by two sprigs — an oak branch to the left and a beech branch to the right — crossing at the base to form a wreath-like arrangement. The denomination legend 'ØRE' is inscribed in capital letters along the lower arc, completing the face value designation '2 ØRE'. The design is uncluttered and functional, consistent with the wartime aluminium coinage series, framed by a raised rim. |

Denmark's occupation-era coinage shifted to aluminium in 1941 as German authorities requisitioned copper and bronze for the war effort. The Royal Danish Mint continued operating under occupation — an arrangement that preserved a degree of institutional continuity but left the mint effectively producing currency under German economic control.
Christian X remained on the coinage throughout the occupation, a detail that carried genuine political weight for the Danish population.
