Obverse description Draped bust of King Charles (Carlo VII of Sicily) facing right, with flowing long wig rendered in fine detail, the truncation bare. The portrait is boldly struck in high relief, displaying a strong profile with pronounced facial features characteristic of Bourbon royal portraiture of the mid-18th century. The circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy, separated from the toothed border by a milled rim.
