Reed Banknote Company, a small Florida-based operation, produces these as collectibles rather than currency substitutes — they carry no issuing authority, no central bank backing, and no redemption value. Richard J. Reed designs and prints them in-house, which is unusual even for the novelty note market, where most producers outsource printing.
Collectibility here rests entirely on the series concept and print run limits, neither of which Reed publicly documents in any standardized way.
