Reed Banknote Company, a small Florida-based operation, produces these as collectibles rather than currency substitutes — they carry no issuing authority, no central bank backing, and no redemption value. Richard J. Reed designs and prints them in-house, which is unusual even for the novelty note market, where most producers outsource printing.
