Reverse description Central field depicts a traditional Tunisian Hanukkah lamp (hanukkiah) of 19th-century style, shown in stylized relief with eight oil-font wicks arranged in a row along an ornate rectangular base, surmounted by arched decorative elements and a central shamash (servant light) raised above the main body on a pedestal finial. A decorative arabesque frieze separates the two lines of Hebrew legend in the lower exergue. The inscription 'חנוכיה מתוניסיה' (Hanukkah lamp from Tunisia) appears above the ornamental band, and 'המאה הי"ט' (the 19th century) appears below it along the lower rim.
