Reverse description Reverse displays two Chinese characters in regular script arranged vertically in the upper and lower positions relative to the central square perforation. The character 捴 (chong, an abbreviated form of 總, denoting the issuing office Sangpyeongchong) appears above the hole, and 天 (cheon, meaning 'Heaven,' serving as a batch or series identifier) appears below. The left and right fields of the reverse are blank, consistent with the small-type variety of this emission. The raised inner rim cleanly frames the perforation, and the broad outer rim shows typical casting texture.
