The characters are rendered in bold, regular-script (楷書) Chinese calligraphy with raised strokes standing prominently against the flat, unadorned field. A wide, plain rim encircles the design, typical of Joseon-period cast coinage. The square central perforation is framed by a raised square border, a hallmark of East Asian cash coin tradition. |
