| Beschrijving voorzijde | Cast copper cash-type coin featuring a central square perforation framed by a raised square inner rim. The four-character reign legend 常平通寶 (Sangpyeong Tongbo) is arranged in regular script (kaishu) reading top-to-bottom, right-to-left around the central aperture, with one character positioned at each cardinal point. The flat field between the inner rim and the plain outer rim is unadorned, consistent with standard Joseon cash coinage. The characters are boldly rendered in relief against a flat, undecorated ground. |

The 2 Mun cash coins of mid-18th century Joseon were produced by a decentralized network of government offices, temples, and military bureaus — each authorized to strike their own issues, distinguished by mint marks on the reverse. KM#366 traces to a specific issuing office, and the variety proliferation across this series is substantial enough that attribution remains an active area of Korean numismatic research.
