Reverse description Plain reverse field surrounding the central square hole, with a mint authority mark at the top and a series numeral at the bottom. The character 工 (Kong) at the top identifies the issuing authority as the Ministry of Industry (工曹, Gongjo), while the character 二 (二, meaning 'two') at the bottom denotes the second series of issue. Both characters are cast in regular script within the plain field, bounded by inner and outer raised rims consistent with Joseon cash coin convention.
