Reverse description Plain field surrounding the central square hole, with a single mint or departmental mark cast in relief at the top of the coin. The character 户 (Ho) identifies the issuing authority as the Hojo, or Treasury Department (Board of Revenue) of the Joseon court. A serial or batch number appears at the bottom of the field, following the standard administrative convention of Joseon cash coinage used to attribute production to specific bureaus.
