Reverse description Three Chinese characters disposed around the central square hole. The mint mark 营 (Yŏng), denoting the Royal Military Office (御營廳, Oyongchong), appears at the upper position. The character 二 (二, meaning 'two,' indicating the denomination of 2 mun) is placed at the left. The character 往 (Wang) appears at the bottom, serving as a series or batch designation. The reverse layout follows the conventional arrangement for Joseon cash coins issued by military minting bureaus during the eighteenth century.
