Reverse description Cast reverse field featuring two Chinese characters arranged above and below the central square hole. The character 捻 (Chong), referring to the Chong Military Office (Chongyungcheong) issuing authority, appears above the perforation, while the character 暑 (So), denoting a version or series number, is placed below. The legends are cast in raised relief with the same formal script style as the obverse, set within a plain flat field enclosed by a raised inner rim and a wide outer rim. The surface shows heavy patination with dark brown and green oxidation typical of long-circulated Joseon cash coinage.
