The character 捴 (Chong), denoting the General Military Office (Chong융cheong) as the issuing mint, appears in the upper field above the aperture. The numeral 二 (i, meaning "two") is cast in the lower field below the aperture, indicating the denomination of 2 Mun. The fields are otherwise plain, with the same broad raised rim as the obverse, consistent with Joseon cast-bronze cash coinage of the late 17th to mid-18th century. |
