The inscriptions are surrounded by an elaborate wreath of intertwining floral and foliate scrollwork featuring stylized blossoms and leaves in high relief, filling the entire field with an ornate decorative pattern characteristic of Xinjiang provincial coinage. A continuous toothed or granulated border frames the entire reverse design at the rim. |
