| Reverse description | Central field bears a three-line Arabic legend reading 'Zarb Kashgar / Do Mithqal' (Struck at Kashgar / Two Mithqal), with the Hijri date incorporated within the inscription. The inscriptions are surrounded by an elaborate wreath of intertwining floral and foliate scrollwork featuring stylized blossoms and leaves in high relief, filling the entire field with an ornate decorative pattern characteristic of Xinjiang provincial coinage. A continuous toothed or granulated border frames the entire reverse design at the rim. |
