Reverse description A rampant lion facing left, depicted in the heraldic style of the Duchy of Guelders, positioned centrally within a beaded inner circle. The lion is rendered with characteristic late medieval stylization, with raised forepaws and a turned head. The design is enclosed by a braided or rope-pattern border, typical of Low Countries copper coinage of the mid-16th century. The field is plain and unlettered, placing full emphasis on the heraldic charge as the territorial symbol of Guelders.
